The Indiana State University Performing Arts Series will bound off to a start Wednesday when Irish dance with a twist combined with classic rock tunes plays Tilson Auditorium.
The first show of the season, Rockin’ Road to Dublin, will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will include a free pre-show event for ticket holders at 6:30.
Rockin’ Road to Dublin is an energetic new show that fuses Irish dance with rock music in a way that’s never quite been explored before.
With dancers who have performed with Michael Flatley in Lord of the Dance as well as the famed Riverdance, Rockin’ Road to Dublin showcases a salute to the art of Celtic dance.
Creators Chris Smith and Scott Doherty have created a lively show with original choreography and world-class dancers.
Tickets for Rockin’ Road to Dublin are on sale. Adult tickets are $24 to $26; ISU faculty and staff tickets are $16 to $21; youth (ages 2 to 12) tickets are $5; and ISU students are admitted to all shows free when presenting their valid ISU ID.
Tickets are available at the Hulman Center ticket office, by phone at 800-745-3000, or online at ticketmaster.com. Group discounts also are available for groups of 10 or more by calling 877-ISU-TIXS.
